Dennis Alan Lempert, a native of New York City, received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from New York University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He has 43 years of experience as a successful criminal defense trial lawyer. His practice is limited to representing persons accused of criminal offenses. Dennis Alan Lempert was a senior Deputy District Attorney in Santa Clara County for 10 years and a private criminal defense attorney for 33 years. He served as a Reserve Police Officer for 21 years. During his career, Dennis Alan Lempert has handled thousands of trials ranging from traffic offenses up to and including death penalty murder cases and virtually every type of criminal case in between. Mr. Lempert personally argued a case in the United States Supreme Court, an honor that very few lawyers ever attain. Dennis Alan Lempert has served on the Board of Directors of the California District Attorney’s Association, and headed the 80,000 members of the Law Office Management section of the State Bar of California.
